How low-code platforms with CRM can help you grow your business

If you’re like most business owners, you’re always looking for ways to grow your business. You may have heard of low-code platforms and CRM and wonder how they can help you. In this blog post, we discuss the benefits of using a low-code platform with CRM to grow your business. We’ll also show you some examples of how companies have used these tools to increase their productivity and profits.

What exactly is a low-code platform?

A low-code platform is a software development platform that allows users to create applications without writing code. That’s right – no programming required! All you need is a basic understanding of drag-and-drop tools and you can create an application in minutes.

CRM, or customer relationship management, is a software application that helps companies manage their customer data. CRM systems typically include features such as contact management, sales automation, and marketing automation.

How can using a low-code platform with CRM help you grow your business?

First of all, it can save you time and money on development costs. Development the cost can be a big barrier to entry for small businesses. By using a low-code platform, you can develop your own custom applications without having to hire expensive developers.

Moreover, low-code platforms with CRM can help you increase your productivity and efficiency. For example, let’s say you’re a salesperson who spends a lot of time on the phone with customers. With a low-code platform, you can easily create a custom application that automates some of your sales tasks, such as creating customer profiles and sending follow-up emails. This frees up your time to focus on sales, which in turn leads to more revenue and more growth for your business. So, if you’re looking for ways to grow your business, consider using a low-code platform with CRM. It can save you time and money on development costs and increase your productivity and efficiency. Do your research and find the right platform for your business needs. Then start developing custom applications that will help you move your business forward.

Fellow Consulting AG is a SugarCRM partner and offers Polydocs GmbH, a low-code platform that can be seamlessly integrated into SugarCRM.

Of course, you can also offer other CRM programs.

With low code against the shortage of skilled workers

24. May 2022 von Stephanie Propstmeier

With low code against the shortage of skilled workers

Germany currently has a shortage of qualified computer scientists in areas such as application development and systems integration. The good news is that this problem can be addressed with low-code. Low-code platforms allow anyone to create sophisticated applications without having to write a single line of code. With low-code, companies can quickly and easily develop the applications they need to close the skills gap and stay competitive.

The business world is increasingly running on apps. Companies are increasingly not only using prefabricated software, but also adapting applications to their needs or creating individual applications for specific purposes. This is time-consuming and cost-intensive and requires IT specialists with the right know-how and time capacities.

However, the shortage of skilled workers also has the IT industry firmly in its grip: According to a Bitkom study, a full 96,000 positions would remain unfilled in 2021. And professional code experts will remain a rarity in the coming years, predicts the Bitkom association. Companies that want to go digital and develop their own apps therefore need other solutions – the order of the day is low-code.

Low-code is a software development approach that uses a graphical user interface to create applications without writing code. It’s an intuitive and easy-to-use way to develop sophisticated applications quickly and easily, making it ideal for companies that need to close the skills gap.

With low-code, anyone can create custom applications without having to be a computer scientist.

Achieving more with less

Another advantage: The more applications have been optimized by low-code, the more options are available to citizen developers, since the basis is already there. Low-code thus represents the transitional area between pro-code and no-code – i.e. programming entirely without code. In this transitional area, colleagues without code experience can carry out more complex application creation in collaboration with expert developers.

Low-code benefits all the players involved: thanks to low-code, software development can be carried out by Citizen Developers in a fraction of the time, because the platforms offer simple, fast and intuitive handling due to the standard modules offered and the elimination of complex coding.

The existing IT specialists can use their capacities elsewhere and the need for professional programmers, who are hard to find on the labor market, decreases. In short, with low-code, fewer employees can achieve more. Companies see significant cost savings as a result. In turn, the respective departments outside of IT receive the solution that fits their workflows and needs, since at best someone from their own department is involved as a citizen developer.
